The way we do business now in the virtual space is one that brings with it issues of trust. As a client looking for a virtual assistant, you look for referrals, recommendations, history, the usual suspects. But a lot of businesses want to know that the person they are dealing with is in fact a real person. Not some avatar.
It’s scary terrain for some, especially if you are used to interacting in a more traditional and tangible way. I have clients that I didn’t meet face-to-face for a year! Others will not engage until AFTER they have met in person. That is also fine. Just because I’m a virtual assistant, doesn’t mean that business doesn’t ever happen away from a computer screen. So to allay any fears, here is a photograph of myself. Nice to meet you!
I’m an entrepreneur and altruist, a mom to a busy, exceptional 10-year old son, and wife to a wonderful tech husband. I love to make things, sell things, upcycle and travel. I’m a cat person and a dog person, and passionate about helping people.
I’ve been a creative my whole life and I offer the unusual blend of being arty and analytical in one friendly, yet professional package. With 20+ years of experience in a variety of fields, living and working overseas, and being a part-time art teacher, you are sure to find what you are looking for.
I am equally comfortable mining Excel spreadsheet data and doing account recons, as I am creating WordPress websites and infographics. You’re most welcome to email me if you have any questions. Nikki@AdminRelief.co.za or get in touch via the Contact Us page.
